We wanted to let you know that due to government recommendations, all National Museums Liverpool venues will close temporarily until further notice, to support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our top priority and, while we understand many of you will be disappointed by the closures, we do not wish to put anyone at risk.

While our museums and galleries are closed, you can still engage with us online via our website and social media and view a sample of our digitised collections by clicking here.

If you have a ticket for an upcoming event or exhibition, we will be operating a rebooking service to allow you to attend at a later date. Please also note that the private views for the Life on Board exhibition at the Merseyside Maritime Museum on 31 March, and the Linda McCartney Retrospective exhibition on the 23 April at the Walker Art Gallery, will not be taking place.
If you have any other questions, please see our website for more information. Or if you would like to get in touch about your corporate membership then please email me: alison.fraser@liverpoolmuseums.org.uk

At this difficult time, we appreciate your support as a corporate member more than ever.
Until we open our doors again, stay safe – look after yourselves and one another.

Best Wishes,
Alison

WWW CANX APRIL 2020 1

Dear friends,

Given the still escalating coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, the EMM European Movement Merseyside and WWW WorldWide Wednesday have taken the decision to cancel or postpone all upcoming events until the end of April at least.  This means we will postpone this week’s (Wed 18 Mar) EMM European Movement Merseyside AGM and cancel April’s (Wed 1 Apr) WWW WorldWide Wednesday.

While I realise that the postponement / cancellation of EMM and WWW meetings will cause some inconvenience and disappointment, your health, safety and well-being are always our highest priority. Since the national situation with the regards to coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to develop apace, the EMM and WWW have chosen to take this sensible option of postponing or cancelling our EMM and WWW gatherings for the time being. We will keep this decision under review, of course, as the situation develops.

On behalf of the whole team at EMM and WWW, thank you for your kind support of the European Movement (EM) UK, the EMM European Movement Merseyside and WWW WorldWide Wednesday: this is very much appreciated. I am confident that together we can make a difference and keep our global city Liverpool at the heart of Europe. We should never forget our shared Merseyside / LCR Liverpool City Region international heritage: the world in one city.

Everyone at EMM and WWW wishes you good health: we hope you and your family are well at this challenging and unpredictable time.

From the team at EMM & WWW
