What’s your opinion of Networking?
Is this a successful tool for you to grow your client base? Do you enjoy it? Or would you prefer to avoid it? Would you like me to be your “Eyes and Ears” in the Business world to bring you more business?
Lots of people consider Networking to be very hit and miss. Some say it’s expensive and time wasting, indeed pointless. These people are correct – for themselves that is. The main reason for the failure is total lack of preparation, planning and the skills of Professional Networking.
Are you one of these non believers? Or are you a true believer who just hates doing it yourself? If the latter, then let me be your “Eyes and Ears” in the Business world. Through being your Professional Networker, I save you lots of Time, Money and Energy. I cut out time wasting with adhoc events and meeting time wasters. How cool is that!
By being your “Eyes and Ears” round the Business world I do your Homework needed to find top relationships for you to grow your business. Professional Networking has always been a great way to start new business relationships and build up new clients. “Professional” though, is rarely how networking is done by most people.
For me, the best practice of Professional Networking to guarantee a successful outcome is as follows: –
Research – Preparation – more Research and more Preparation!
Yes, this is very time consuming up front but, if properly done, then it pays off in the long run. It’s very rewarding to see a satisfied client. Without researching your clients, who their ideal audience is and where to find that audience, you will never successfully find new business for your clients.
So, successful Networking is not hit and miss. It’s about professional preparation and planning. I always research my clients, chat with them, understand their needs, etc. We discuss new ways to find new business.
Would you like to be part of doing business this way?
Would you like me to be your “Eyes and Ears” in the Business world?
The general perception on how to network can be very misleading. It can be expensive and non productive. Networking events take an average of 4 hours of your working day so it’s very important to chose the events wisely. Most are attended adhoc with no idea of who will be there. Many people attending have no idea as to who their own audience is. Thankfully, not me.
So, what’s the alternative?
Instead of wasting your own precious time researching new business yourself, attending adhoc events and 1-1 follow ups, find a Specialist in the industry. As your Professional Networker, through expertise I can cut out so, so much of the unnecessary wasteful stuff. I know what meetings and events are best for finding your type of audience. This way you avoid high costs in joining other Memberships too. And lots more…
