Today, misuse of words is quite common. My first example of this is the “Hoover”. This was one of the first household names in vacuum cleaners. Thereafter, when someone talked about their vacuum cleaner, irrespective of what make they had, it was referred to as a Hoover.
Misuse of words is very prevalent in Digital Marketing. So many words are used out of context. Take “Hacking” for instance. Hacking is blamed for many mishaps in Social Media. But are the challenges really the fault of hacking?
